Once again, i read the first 100 pages of The Catcher In the Rye
Nothing special happens, i guess.
Holden (the main character) just gets kicked out from Pencey (his school)
and he decides to go to New York, before returning home to his family.
There also moments in the first 100 pages, where he is talking to the guys from his school.
Holden seems to have interest towards Jane (because when Strager...tells Holden that he has a date with Jane, Holden seems very curious and nosy about it).
Not much happened in the first 100 pages.

Hi Sharon,
I know what you mean about The Catcher in Rye being kind of boring. I tried reading it a little while back and it was boring to me that I sort of abandoned it. But keep me posted on it because I want to see if it gets as good as its known for and maybe I might try reading it again.
Heyy Sharon(: I finished reading my book! YAY! Finally I'm done with it. Anyways, I think that it took me long to read My Sister's Keeper, because like you said, I tried to understand every single word, so I had to read some sentences over and over again. I think that understanding everything or most of it was worth it, because I didn't get confused and I knew what was happeneing. Even though I knew what was going to happen in the end, I was still sortof surprised. My sister told me that The Cathcher In The Rye was a great book. Even though nothing special happened yet, I hope that you will get to the good parts. Keep reading and enjoy!(:
